Silver Medal for Hook Scales at the Canadian Farm Progress Show

The Venetian company Balanzas Hook recently obtained the Silver Medal for their participation in the Canada’s Farm Progress Show held in the last days of June in the city of Regina, capital of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It is an agricultural exhibition that is held annually, exhibiting cultivation technologies, with hundreds of agricultural machinery and equipment, with the participation of more than 800 exhibitors from different parts of the world.

The Silver Medal for Hook Scales was awarded to him for his participation in the Technological Innovation category, with one of his precision weighing equipment. There were a series of evaluations carried out by specialists and technicians, in addition to the presentation of theoretical documentation and undergoing practical tests.

‘We were presenting one of our developments, which is a continuous flow scale, which is placed at the exit of the cereal containers, in grain extractors, chimangos, outlets of silos. This is a highly innovative product in the world, because given its characteristics there is no other. There is only one team that has another similar measurement system, but we have achieved greater certainty in weighing, "explained Carlos Bonetto, head of the company.

It is the first international distinction that Hook Balances receives. The product has recently entered the Canadian market, and ‘given the rigid climate conditions, some trials will be carried out with the harshness of the Canadian winter. They need to work with this machine with temperatures from 35 to 40 degrees below zero, whereby the metals and movements do not behave the same way. As they are now in summer we have decided that in the next Canadian winter we will carry out all the tests and corrections that are necessary on the teams in place, ’said Bonetto.
